I love this place!! The decor is dated and the service is a little lacking but the FOOD!! I had moved away about ten years ago and a few days ago I thought, "l've gotta go to Kaysans!!" So here I am and it's just as wonderful as it has always been!! Thank you Kaysans!

Great chicken nachos. Go on Friday and get half off nachos. Service is spotty. Depends on the day I guess . Love the blue margaritas.

On the south side of Fort Wayne, this restaurant has seemingly been having an identity crisis for the last 15 years that I have been a patron here, serving American, Chinese, and Mexican styles of food. 15 years - I've never tried anything besides the Mexican fare. Another dark, dim restaurant, I find it most appropriate for lunch, although with so few visitors around lunch-times, its a wonder they remain open during that time. The wait staff is very kind and down-to-earth - unafraid to warn you if anything is sub-par. If you happen to go on one of the random days they have the lunch buffet, you are in for a treat. For around $10, you will receive all-you-can-eat tacos, burritos, buffalo wings, chips & salsa (which you receive anyway), and whatever else they decide to put out on the buffet. I once witnessed a co-worker (a rather large fellow) devour 3 HEAPING plates of wings. For lunch. Very healthy. Unfortunately, it is next to impossible to discern when a lunch buffet will take place. The last time I saw a notice for it, 2 years ago, the buffet was offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and every 3rd Friday. Reasonably priced, lunches often run less than $10 a plate. The chips and salsa arrive hot - as many as you would like. The food doesn't take terribly long to arrive. My favorite is the Chicken Chimichanga - which is served with Spanish Rice, Refried Beans, tomato, and lettuce. The food isn't fantastic - its good for the price. Worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood, but again, don't come with high expectations. Good food, and plenty of options if you can't decide what you're in the mood for.

I live in California where there's a Taquieria down every block. Kaysan's is the best Mexican food hands down - EVER. Try any combination or enchilada plate and ask for 2x rice and for gravy and cheese on top of the rice - Heaven on a plate. It is the BOMB !

Terrible Food, Terrible Service.. Maybe for starters if they are wondering why their dining room is empty, they should look at the wait staff. I have never in my life encountered a more rood bunch of people. Never! Oh and make sure you aren't lying to your customers. A blatant full fledged lie right to my face is not going to win me over.
